These are cut to a standard size of 150mm x 400mm to avoid waste and ease waterproof installation unlike some imported materials.

Each exposed row is 125mm (5 inches) and this is an ideal remedy for anyone who has a leaking felt roof as these can be fixed directly over the existing cover. Stainless steel or galvanized fixings are recommended.

Old shed given a new lease of life

Even an existing shed can be rejuvenated by a resilient and durable roof.

(Coverage for roofs with a pitch of between 22° to 45° is approximately 56 shingles per square metre but please allow extra for a double starter row at the eaves line).

Timber is one of the most ecologically friendly building materials available. When wood is growing, huge amounts of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere are absorbed by day, and clean oxygen released overnight. The carbon dioxide remains 'locked up' in the timber until it is burnt or returns to the natural cycle. Our timber is locally grown in Scotland reducing our carbon footprint. The use of timber stimulates the forestry trade which responds by planting more trees.
